My family took me there for my birthday dinner and it was amazing. The chef was fun and the food was freshly prepared in front of us like typical hibachi highly recommended.

Great food and table show. We go all the time and the dinner for two is our go to. We leave stuffed. The show by most cooks are good as well .

Solid sushi spot in the Toms River area. Would recommend. Review is for sushi, as I haven't been to the hibachi yet. Underrated sushi in TR. I sat at the counter, which I would highly recommend. The chefs were friendly and it was very cool to see them work. The food was quick and the place was very nice looking on the inside. The sushi itself was delicious and well priced. Got the sushi love boat for 2 to split with a very hungry friend and I. Good quality pieces that came with sushi and sashimi. It was more than enough food as it also came with soup and salad! Would recommend and would like to come back for the hibachi.

Large welcoming classic hibachi grill style restaurant that was chosen by my 4 year old grandson. And, Ichiban's management was ready with chopsticks for children, which my grandson enjoyed cleaning up his rice with. Two of us went the sushi route. I was really hungry for sushi and I was not disappointed. The cuts were precise and the fish absolutely fresh. The rolls were attractively presented. The edaname was tasty to much on but the best part of our dinner belonged to the choices of my daughter and her husband. They ordered what might be the best tofu I have ever tasted, the Teriyaji Tofu ... yes, they allowed us to share in the treat! Crisp skin, milky interior, and perfect sauce. So, Ichiban gave us a great finish to our day with our grandson!! Even if you usually avoid tofu ... GET THE TOFU!!!

Went for Christmas Eve dinner. Six of us. Brought our own beer and wine. The youngest in the group just wanted chicken and rice, and seemed disappointed until the chef made her open her mouth and landed a few vegetables in along with a liquid (not saki) from a baby bottle lol very entertaining and set the mood in a positive way. Food was excellent, salad was small but good dressing, I had the scallops and chicken teriyaki, wife and her brother split the 50$ shared combo meal, appetizer and desert included and my daughter had her Sushi , which I had a few pieces. Portions are large so be prepared to carry some home for a second meal next day. My only negative comment was our server seemed rushed and didn't understand my request to remove a glass of water from a crowded surface. Not a big deal unless I knock it over. Which I've been known to do. But it was a fun, delicious, and well run cooking in front of us experience!

Hubby and I had dinner here with our son and his GF 9/3. Reservations were for 5:30p. It is BYOB, in case you need to know, so we brought a small hand cooler with our beers. Starting off with appetizer we ordered the crispy calamari and mango wrapped tuna, both were very good and we would order again. Entrée, son and GF ordered the Hibachi chicken to share ( as did we). It comes with hibachi chicken & rice, noodles, vegetable and salad, soup and ice creme. There is a $10. Split charge on entrées. We also ordered rolls. Godzilla, Sweetheart, Amazing, Hollywood and a few miscellaneous orders of sushi. Everything we ordered was very tasty and delicious. Our servers absolutely the sweetest and so friendly, we have zero complaints. We will be back I'm no time. I highly suggest reservations.
